The Production Agent L1 role is an entry‑level position that sits at the front line of Wipro’s client‑service operations. The primary purpose of the role is to provide technical support for the production process, handling client queries through phone and email, and ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) are met. The role demands strong communication skills, a customer‑centric attitude, and the ability to quickly learn and apply product knowledge, especially in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and related mapping tools.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage daily transactions and resolve client issues while adhering to quality standards.
2. Field incoming help requests via telephone and email, documenting user details and problem descriptions.
3. Update personal availability in the RAVE system to maintain optimal process productivity.
4. Record, track, and document all queries, including steps taken and resolution outcomes.
5. Follow standard operating procedures to resolve client queries within defined SLAs.
6. Access and maintain internal knowledge bases, FAQs, and self‑help documents to aid faster problem resolution.
7. Identify recurring issues, analyze call logs, and suggest preventive measures.
8. Escalate critical or unresolved issues to the Team Leader promptly.
9. Provide accurate product information and disclosures before and after interactions.
10. Participate in product training sessions, upskill continuously, and share knowledge with peers.
Tech Stack & Tools: RAVE ticketing system, GIS mapping software, Microsoft Office Suite, email clients, and internal knowledge‑base platforms. Familiarity with basic networking concepts and troubleshooting methodologies is advantageous.
Growth Path: Starting as a Production Agent L1, high performers can progress to Production Agent L2, Team Lead, and eventually into specialized roles such as Process Analyst, Operations Manager, or GIS Specialist.
