By leveraging data‑driven insights, the team ensures that every parcel reaches its destination efficiently, accurately, and on time. Working in this team means being part of a high‑impact operation that directly influences customer satisfaction and Amazon’s reputation for reliable delivery. The culture emphasizes rapid learning, cross‑functional collaboration, and a relentless focus on quality and continuous improvement.
As a Quality Associate, you will be the first line of defense for a variety of operational challenges that arise in the last‑mile delivery ecosystem. Your day‑to‑day activities will involve addressing address resolution issues, correcting geocode data, managing static routes, and supporting drivers through real‑time problem solving. You will also audit images and videos, transcribe call logs, and maintain meticulous records of all actions taken. By identifying recurring patterns and feeding them back into process improvement initiatives, you will help shape the future of Amazon’s logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to perform manual audits and resolve outliers or exceptions using internal tools.
2. Investigate images, videos, and other media to recommend corrective actions in line with SOPs.
3. Listen to customer calls and transcribe relevant information from calls and emails to resolve issues.
4. Identify emerging patterns from audits and contribute to continuous process and program improvements.
5. Provide timely responses to stakeholders, adhering to defined SLA and productivity metrics.
6. Escalate problems systematically to the appropriate owners or teams following pre‑determined processes.
7. Update trackers or workflow tools to maintain accurate records of daily activities.
8. Meet and exceed business metrics such as SLA compliance, productivity, quality, and utilization benchmarks.
9. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive business goals and develop a global perspective of Amazon’s operations across different geographies.
10. Remain flexible to work on multiple programs as business needs evolve.
Tech Stack & Tools: The role primarily uses Amazon’s proprietary logistics platforms, Microsoft Office suite, SQL for basic data queries, and internal ticketing and workflow management systems. Familiarity with data visualization tools and basic scripting can be advantageous.
Growth Path: Starting as a Quality Associate, high performers can progress to Senior Quality Analyst, Team Lead, or Operations Manager roles within the Last Mile Analytics division. The exposure to multi‑disciplinary stakeholders and real‑time problem solving equips associates with the skills needed for broader operational leadership positions.
Why Join? This position offers a unique blend of analytical rigor and customer‑centric problem solving in a fast‑paced environment. You will gain hands‑on experience with Amazon’s logistics backbone, work alongside seasoned professionals, and have clear avenues for career advancement.
