In the role of Infrastructure Specialist, you will become the frontline technical hero for both external clients and internal stakeholders. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware, software, and networking issues, ensuring that service level agreements are consistently met. The position involves handling escalated tickets, performing root‑cause analysis, and documenting design flaws or reliability problems. You will also be responsible for on‑site installations, moves, adds, and changes (IMAC), as well as data backup and restoration for specific accounts. By building deep knowledge of the local and regional infrastructure landscape and collaborating with cross‑functional teams, you will help drive proactive problem‑prevention and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include: 1. Respond to and resolve escalated technical incidents across hardware, software, and network domains. 2. Conduct thorough root‑cause analysis and create detailed incident reports. 3. Perform IMAC activities, ensuring minimal disruption to client services. 4. Execute data backup, restore, and disaster‑recovery procedures as required. 5. Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Cisco Nexus, IOS, and F5 ASM/LTM devices. 6. Collaborate with regional infrastructure teams to share knowledge and best practices. 7. Participate in on‑call rotations and adhere to SLA commitments. 8. Identify recurring issues and propose automation or process improvements. 9. Provide technical training and guidance to junior team members and customers. 10. Maintain accurate documentation in ticketing and knowledge‑base systems.
