As an apprentice, you will work closely with senior data engineers, business analysts and product owners to design, develop and deliver digital solutions that improve operational efficiency across Volvo’s transport ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support the design and delivery of digital analytics solutions using SQL, Python and Power Automation. 2. Extract, cleanse and integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple source systems. 3. Build interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI (and optionally Qlik) to surface trends, risks and performance metrics. 4. Identify actionable insights through data analysis, automation and exploratory analytics, highlighting opportunities for AI/ML enhancements. 5. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to manage change requests, conduct testing and validate deployments. 6. Translate complex business requirements into clear analytical outputs and visual stories. 7. Coach stakeholders on new tools, promote data‑driven decision making and support change‑leadership initiatives. 8. Participate in continuous improvement activities, suggesting process optimizations and automation ideas. 9. Document solutions, maintain data lineage and ensure data governance standards are met. 10. Stay updated with emerging technologies in analytics, big data and cloud platforms. Tech Stack: SQL, Python, Power BI, Qlik (preferred), Power Automation, basic AI/ML concepts, Git, Azure/AWS basics.
