The role of an F&V Associate is a full‑cycle ownership position within the Fruits & Vegetables category. You will act as the bridge between farmers, mandis, and the Hyperpure‑Blinkit operations team, ensuring that the right produce reaches the right place at the right price. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include sourcing high‑quality fruits and vegetables, negotiating rates, monitoring market trends, coordinating inbound logistics, and collaborating with quality assurance teams to maintain stringent standards. You will also be expected to analyse sales data, forecast demand, and propose corrective actions to mitigate any supply‑side disruptions. The position demands a blend of analytical thinking, strong communication, and on‑ground execution skills. Key responsibilities: 1. Identify and onboard reliable farmers and wholesale vendors across the northern belt. 2. Negotiate purchase contracts, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining quality benchmarks. 3. Conduct regular market price surveys and maintain a real‑time price database. 4. Coordinate with the logistics team for timely pick‑up, cold‑chain handling, and delivery to fulfilment centres. 5. Perform quality inspections at source and upon receipt, documenting any deviations. 6. Track inventory levels, forecast demand, and trigger replenishment orders proactively. 7. Analyse sales and wastage data to optimise procurement strategies and reduce spoilage. 8. Resolve on‑site issues such as delayed shipments, quality complaints, or vendor disputes. 9. Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for senior leadership. 10. Contribute ideas for process automation, technology adoption, and scalability of the F&V supply chain. Tech stack & tools: Excel, Google Sheets, basic SQL for data extraction, ERP/CRM platforms used by Hyperpure, and mobile apps for field data capture. Growth path includes progression to Category Manager, Supply Chain Lead, or Operations Manager, with exposure to cross‑functional teams such as product, engineering, and finance.
