The role of Software Database Engineer sits within TI’s Advanced Technology Development (ATD) – Mask Technology and Pattern Generation (MTPG) team. 2. Maintain and enhance existing codebases written in Perl, Ruby and Unix Shell.

4. Collaborate with hardware and layout engineers to ensure seamless data exchange between CAD tools (Cadence) and custom software.
5. Participate in code reviews, testing and documentation to uphold TI’s quality standards.

7. Contribute to the creation of best‑practice guidelines for software development within the ATD‑MTPG team.
