As an AI Software Engineer at Zecruit, you’ll be a core member of our product team, helping build and scale our voice-first recruitment platform. You’ll work across our stack—designing intuitive frontends, building robust APIs, and integrating powerful AI models. You’ll have the opportunity to work on meaningful AI problems at the frontier of tech, owning products that reach real users fast. Our flexible remote setup with async-first culture allows you to work at your own pace, while our tight, passionate team moves quickly and builds with purpose. As a member of our team, you can expect to build and maintain scalable front-end interfaces using React and TypeScript, develop and optimize backend services using Python (Flask), collaborate with our AI team to integrate LLMs and Gen AI models (e.g., OpenAI, DeepSeek, Whisper), and architect APIs and services for real-time conversations, agent logic, and analytics. You’ll also work closely with product and design to create smooth user and candidate experiences, ship fast, learn quickly, and own your work end-to-end. We're looking for individuals with 0–2 years of experience building web applications in React and TypeScript, strong backend skills in Python, especially with Fast API or similar frameworks, experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming, and comfort with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP) and deployment workflows. Experience with LLMs, voice agents, or generative AI is a bonus.
