The Tech Intern program offers a six‑month, hands‑on experience in either backend or frontend development. Interns will be paired with senior engineers and product managers, contributing to real‑world features that scale to millions of users. The programme is designed as a talent pipeline: high‑performing interns may receive a pre‑placement offer (PPO) for a full‑time role after graduation. Interns will work on tasks ranging from API design, database optimisation, and micro‑service integration (for backend) to building responsive mobile interfaces, state management, and UI/UX refinement (for frontend). Key responsibilities include: 1. Designing, developing, and testing RESTful APIs using Python, Django or Flask. 2. Implementing front‑end screens and components with React Native, ensuring cross‑platform compatibility. 3. Writing clean, maintainable code following the company’s coding standards and CI/CD pipelines. 4. Collaborating with product managers to translate requirements into technical specifications. 5. Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback. 6. Optimising database queries and improving performance for high‑traffic endpoints. 7. Conducting unit and integration testing to guarantee reliability. 8. Debugging production issues and proposing robust fixes. 9. Documenting APIs, modules, and deployment procedures. 10. Staying updated with emerging technologies and suggesting improvements. Tech stack: Python, Django, Flask, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, AWS (or GCP), React Native, TypeScript, Git, CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Jenkins).
