The 18‑month program consists of three six‑month rotations across critical technology domains such as Full‑Stack Development, Data Engineering, Cloud Engineering, AI/ML, and DevOps. The role sits within the Technology and Customer Applications team, which builds and maintains the core software products that power S&P Global’s data platforms. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design, develop, test, and deploy robust software components using Java, Python, and related frameworks. 2. Collaborate with cross‑functional product, data, and UX teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications. 3. Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of the codebase. 4. Work on data pipelines, APIs, and micro‑services that enable real‑time data delivery to clients. 5. Engage in cloud‑native development on platforms such as AWS or Azure, including CI/CD automation. 6. Contribute to performance tuning, scalability, and reliability of production systems. 7. Drive automation of testing, monitoring, and deployment processes. 8. Present project outcomes and learnings to senior leadership during rotation reviews. Tech Stack: Java, Python, SQL, RESTful APIs, React/Angular (front‑end), AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD tools. Growth Path: Upon successful completion of the IMPACT program, graduates are placed into permanent roles such as Software Engineer II, Data Engineer, or Cloud Engineer, with clear promotion pathways to Senior Engineer and Lead positions within 2‑3 years based on performance.
