As an apprentice, you will be the first point of contact for new sellers joining the platform, guiding them through the entire onboarding journey, ensuring compliance, and setting the stage for a successful partnership. This position offers a hands‑on experience in vendor management, commercial negotiations, and cross‑functional collaboration with product, catalog and finance teams. Key responsibilities include: 1. Communicating with sellers/vendors via phone, email and chat to explain onboarding steps and resolve queries. 2. Managing the Vendor Master data and ensuring all onboarding documents are verified within the stipulated TAT. 3. Coordinating with internal stakeholders (Category, Catalog, Finance) to address escalations and exceptional scenarios. 4. Understanding and explaining commercial terms such as commission structures, GST implications and settlement cycles. 5. Conducting KYC verification and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. 6. Updating daily MIS reports in Excel and tracking onboarding metrics. 7. Assisting in the creation of onboarding SOPs and knowledge‑base articles. 8. Providing feedback to product teams on pain points in the seller experience. 9. Supporting ad‑hoc projects related to seller acquisition and retention. 10. Maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy in all seller interactions. The tech stack for this role primarily revolves around MS Office suite, especially Excel for data analysis, and internal CRM tools used by the vendor management team.
