As a junior member of the telecom technology and digital engineering team, you will contribute to the design, development and maintenance of software that powers BT’s core network services. Key responsibilities include: 1. Designing, coding and testing Java/Python modules that support network monitoring and automation. 2. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. 4. Writing efficient SQL queries and maintaining relational database schemas. 5. Using Git for version control, code reviews and continuous integration. 6. Participating in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning and retrospectives within an agile framework. 7. Debugging production issues, performing root‑cause analysis and implementing fixes. 8. Documenting code, APIs and system architecture for knowledge sharing. 9.
