The Business Intelligence Analyst role in Pune is a full‑time, on‑site position that sits at the intersection of data engineering and business strategy. The analyst will be responsible for turning raw data from multiple operational systems into actionable dashboards, reports and insights that help senior leaders make informed decisions. The role requires strong analytical thinking, proficiency with BI tools, and the ability to communicate complex findings in a clear, business‑focused manner. Key responsibilities include: gathering and documenting reporting requirements from business stakeholders; extracting, transforming and validating data from relational databases and cloud platforms; developing and maintaining recurring Power BI dashboards and Excel reports following global standards; performing quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy; selecting appropriate analytical techniques such as trend analysis, root‑cause analysis and hypothesis testing; converting business problems into analytical use cases and visual storytelling; delivering insights on time while maintaining high standards of precision; collaborating with senior analysts, product owners and cross‑functional teams to refine reporting objectives; supporting continuous improvement of BI processes and data‑governance initiatives; and presenting findings to leadership with actionable recommendations.
