You hold a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science / Engineering, or equivalent demonstrable prior experience. Strong experience developing both backend (eg. C#) and frontend applications (eg. Vue JS) is required. You should have the ability to write idiomatic and maintainable code using where applicable the latest conventions of languages + frameworks. Foundational experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases is required, as well as foundational experience with building and deploying applications continuously. Relevant knowledge and basic practical experience with a major cloud platform (ie. Azure, AWS, GCP) is required. Strong written and verbal communication in English is required.

As a member of the Digital Americas organization, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary technical team comprised of data scientists, software engineers, and operations research experts. The team serves Linde business units and is tasked with creating analytics and decision support systems that deliver solutions for challenging problems across operations, supply chain, and business process. You will be responsible for supporting Linde’s Digital Americas team with extending existing and building new products for a vast amount of use cases across Linde’s business and value chain. You will develop new and existing platforms and products the Digital Americas team offer to their internal customers. You will work directly with customer data to build the next generation of cloud-based applications (backend + frontend development). Further, you will build and experiment with tooling around CI/CD to enable reliable and sustainable delivery of software. You will perform reliability and performance testing, establish process management tools, and application monitoring. Also, you will develop prototypes and build replication pipelines of existing solutions connect to other systems.
