As a Business Analyst at Puma Energy’s Mumbai Delivery Center, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams. You will be responsible for understanding complex business problems, gathering clear requirements, and translating them into actionable solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support strategic initiatives. The role offers exposure to a multinational environment, cross‑functional collaboration, and the chance to work on projects that impact the energy supply chain on a global scale. Key Responsibilities: 1. Identify, analyse and document business problems and their root causes. 2. Conduct feasibility studies, cost‑benefit analysis and recommend optimal solutions. 3. Gather, validate and maintain detailed business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders. 4. Create functional specifications, process flow diagrams and use‑case documents. 5. Communicate requirements and solution designs clearly to technical teams and senior management. 6. Support solution implementation, monitor progress, manage risks and ensure timely delivery. 7. Perform post‑implementation reviews and measure solution effectiveness. 8. Continuously evaluate existing processes, suggest improvements and drive process re‑engineering initiatives. 9. Participate in stakeholder workshops, requirement‑gathering sessions and demo presentations. 10. Maintain documentation repositories and ensure traceability throughout the project lifecycle. Tech Stack & Tools: MS Excel, Power BI/Tableau for analytics, JIRA/Confluence for agile tracking, SQL for data extraction, basic understanding of ERP (SAP/Oracle) and familiarity with BPMN for process modelling. Growth Path: Starting as an entry‑level Business Analyst, you can progress to Senior Business Analyst, Business Solutions Lead, and eventually to Product Owner or Project Manager roles within the global energy business.
