As an entry‑level analyst, you will be part of a fast‑moving, data‑centric group that builds and maintains high‑quality map layers, supports navigation services, and ensures data integrity across multiple geographies. The position provides end‑to‑end exposure, from data extraction using internal tools to validation, quality checks, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams. You will work on Local Geometry, Important Roads, Intersections & Highways, and contribute to the overall user experience of navigation products. Key responsibilities include: 1. Develop and maintain internal scripts for data extraction, cleansing, and validation across all map layers. 2. Contribute to the creation and refinement of Local Geometry (LG), Important Roads (IR), and Intersections & Highways (IS) datasets. 3. Perform quality audits and ensure that deliverables meet predefined SLAs and accuracy thresholds. 4. Troubleshoot data inconsistencies using computer and internet research skills. 5. Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams to resolve issues and improve processes. 6. Document workflows, findings, and recommendations for continuous improvement. 7. Participate in shift‑based operations, handling high‑volume tasks with attention to detail. 8. Provide feedback to senior analysts and suggest automation opportunities. 9. Attend regular knowledge‑sharing sessions to stay updated on mapping technologies. 10. Support the navigation/search services by validating end‑to‑end data pipelines. The tech stack primarily involves GIS tools, SQL for data handling, Python or scripting for automation, and basic knowledge of mapping standards (e.g., OpenStreetMap).
