The role of Associate – Market Risk sits within the RISK Markets & Financial Institutions (RISK MFI) platform. The team provides senior management with transparent, dynamic analysis of market, counterparty, valuation and liquidity risks arising from Global Markets activities. As an Associate, you will partner with regional risk teams to automate manual reporting processes, develop new risk dashboards, and ensure high‑quality risk monitoring. Daily and weekly monitoring and reporting of market and counterparty risk limits and positions. 2. Analyse risk variations across business lines to identify data‑quality issues. 3. Industrialise production workflows to achieve synergies across regions. 6. Translate raw risk data into actionable insights for traders and senior management. 7. Strictly adhere to globally defined RISK MFI procedures and compliance standards. 8. Maintain effective communication with GM trading desks while preparing limit reports. 9. Collaborate with the RCA team to redesign the operating model for risk production. 10. Continuously update knowledge of market, liquidity and counter‑party risk concepts. Tech Stack: Python (pandas, numpy), Excel/VBA, SQL, PowerBI/Tableau for visualisation, basic knowledge of Bloomberg/Reuters terminals.
