The role of Consultant, Technology Controls Advisory, Audit and Assurance is designed for early‑career professionals who are eager to dive deep into technology risk assessment and internal control testing. You will work closely with senior auditors, risk consultants, and client teams to evaluate complex IT environments, perform SOX 404, SSAE 18, and ICFR assessments, and provide actionable recommendations that enhance control effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: 1. Identify and evaluate complex business and technological risks, and assess the effectiveness of internal controls. 2. Conduct system evaluations and audit IT and business processes for SOX 404, SSAE 18, or ICFR assessments following PCAOB/AICPA guidance. 3. Perform end‑to‑end General IT Controls (GITC) testing across operating systems, databases, applications, and network components. 4. Document findings, prepare work‑papers, and communicate control gaps and remediation recommendations to stakeholders. 5. Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery with high quality and proactive escalation when needed. 6. Coordinate with local and remote Deloitte teams as well as client personnel to gather evidence and align on audit scope. 7. Provide periodic status updates to senior managers and clients, highlighting risks, progress, and next steps. 8. Continuously develop technical knowledge in areas such as cloud security, data analytics, and emerging regulatory frameworks. 9. Contribute to internal initiatives, knowledge sharing sessions, and practice development activities. 10. Uphold Deloitte’s professional standards, ethics, and confidentiality throughout the engagement. Tech Stack & Tools: Familiarity with audit software (e.g., SAP GRC, ACL, IDEA), operating systems (Windows, Linux), database platforms (SQL Server, Oracle), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and basic scripting (Python, PowerShell) is advantageous. Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint, are essential for data analysis and presentation.
