B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or related engineering streams. Minimum 0‑1 years of relevant experience (freshers eligible). The role of Data Analyst sits within the International Digital Engineering and Design team at the Global Engineering Center in Vadodara. As part of the Transformers Business Unit, the analyst will create business reports, dashboards and analytical models that drive engineering productivity, resource planning and strategic execution. The position offers exposure to a diverse set of stakeholders – from engineering managers to finance and global functions – and provides a platform to apply advanced analytics, automation and AI in a real‑world, high‑impact environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collect, cleanse, validate and analyse data from multiple enterprise systems such as SAP, SQL databases and other internal tools. 2. Design and develop interactive dashboards, scorecards and reports using Power BI and related analytics platforms. 3. Identify trends, performance gaps, risks and improvement opportunities, and present data‑driven recommendations to leadership. 4. Build automated reporting solutions with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) to enhance efficiency and accuracy. 5. Analyse engineering utilisation, productivity, capacity and workload data to support workforce planning and hiring forecasts. 6. Create KPI dashboards for engineering functions, managers and senior leadership, monitoring project delivery and execution metrics. 7. Contribute to digitalisation initiatives by supporting the implementation of new analytics tools and platforms. 8. Ensure data quality, consistency and integrity across systems by defining standards, governance mechanisms and maintaining documentation. 9. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and drive adoption of analytics‑driven decision making. 10. Continuously identify process inefficiencies and develop predictive models to improve planning and execution. Tech Stack: Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SQL, SAP, Excel, Python/R (for advanced analytics), data‑visualisation best practices, data‑governance frameworks.
