IndiGo, officially InterGlobe Aviation Ltd., is India’s largest low‑cost carrier and one of the fastest‑growing airlines in the world. Founded in 2006, the airline operates a fleet of over 300 aircraft, serving more than 100 domestic and international destinations. Its business model focuses on operational efficiency, high aircraft utilization, and a strong emphasis on punctuality, which has helped it capture a dominant market share in the Indian aviation sector. The company’s culture is built around speed, simplicity, and a relentless focus on customer experience, making it an attractive place for fresh talent who want to make a tangible impact in a fast‑paced environment. The Network Planning team is the backbone of IndiGo’s route strategy. It designs, develops, and continuously refines the airline’s flight network, ensuring optimal connectivity, profitability, and resource utilization. As an Analyst – Network Planning, you will be part of a quasi‑technical, operations‑focused unit that owns the end‑to‑end schedule distribution lifecycle. You will ensure that every published schedule is accurate, timely, and consistent across internal systems, partner GDS platforms, and external channels. The role also involves managing codeshare relationships, building analytical dashboards, and automating repetitive tasks to improve speed and reliability. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform schedule publishing and manage schedule distribution across all channels. 2. Conduct pre‑ and post‑publish checks to verify timings, equipment, terminals, and day‑of‑operation details. 3. Track discrepancies, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and drive resolution. 4. Manage existing and new codeshare partner onboarding, including flight eligibility, carrier rules, O&D logic, and product class mapping. 5. Run periodic parity checks between master schedule, selling schedule, operations system, and GDS. 6. Build and maintain dashboards for schedule latency, KPI monitoring, and publish accuracy using Power BI or Tableau. 7. Develop automation scripts (Python/SQL) to streamline routine tasks. 8. Create and update SOPs, checklists, and business‑rules documentation. 9. Identify recurring issues, propose process improvements, and support system change testing. 10. Collaborate closely with Revenue Management, PSS, OCC, and Digital teams to align schedule decisions with commercial goals. Tech Stack & Tools: Power BI, Tableau, Python, SQL, Microsoft Excel (advanced), SSIM Chapter 7 messaging, Amadeus/Sabre planning tools, OAG/Innovata data formats. Growth Path: Starting as an Analyst, high performers can progress to Senior Analyst, then to Manager – Schedule Planning & Management, and eventually to leadership roles such as Head of Network Planning. The role offers exposure to airline economics, data‑driven decision making, and cross‑functional collaboration, providing a solid foundation for a career in aviation operations or analytics. Why Join IndiGo? You will work with a market‑leading airline that values speed, innovation, and data‑centric thinking. The position offers hands‑on experience with real‑world airline schedules, codeshare governance, and advanced analytics, all while being part of a vibrant, merit‑based culture that rewards initiative and continuous learning.
