Intern – Software Development and Testing

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s (B.Tech) or Master’s (M.Tech) degree in Control & Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline. 3rd or 4th year B.Tech or 1st year M.Tech. Minimum 60% in the current academic year. No backlog policy. Strong academic record and relevant project experience are preferred.

As an intern, you will be immersed in the full software development lifecycle, from designing MATLAB and Python functions for automated reporting to validating controller performance. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers to debug and enhance tool performance, contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Jenkins, and prepare technical documentation and certification reports. The role requires a blend of programming, testing, and documentation skills, and offers exposure to real‑world wind turbine control systems. Key responsibilities include: 1. Designing and programming MATLAB and Python functions for automated reporting and controller validation workflows. 2. Supporting the testing and validation of new and existing software tools. 3. Debugging and enhancing tool performance based on user feedback. 4. Implementing and improving automated build, test, and CI/CD procedures. 5. Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, including user guides and development notes. 6. Assisting in the creation of data analysis reports and technical presentations for engineering reviews. 7. Preparing controller certification documents. 8. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a global environment. 9. Participating in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions. 10. Continuously learning new technologies and best practices. The tech stack you will work with includes MATLAB, Python, LaTeX, Git, GitLab/Jenkins, Artifactory, and Jira.
