Acting as a product developer, the candidate will translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, ensure architectural compliance, and drive continuous improvement of integration standards. Key responsibilities include: 1. Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of integration backlog items, from requirement gathering to production release. 2. Design, configure and operate Workday integrations such as EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, SOAP/REST APIs, and custom XML/XSLT transformations. 3. Perform impact analysis for system upgrades and new feature requests, documenting technical specifications and test cases. 4. Monitor daily integration runs, troubleshoot failures, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions. 5. Execute non‑regression testing and support campaign execution for HR initiatives. 6. Ensure all integrations adhere to the enterprise integration strategy and security model. 7. Maintain up‑to‑date operational and technical documentation for knowledge sharing. 8. Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders across Europe and India, providing timely updates and managing expectations. 9. Participate in on‑call rotation covering the Europe shift (13:00‑22:00 IST) to support critical business windows. 10. Contribute ideas for automation, cost‑effective solutions and process optimisation. The technical stack revolves around Workday’s integration ecosystem (EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio), XML/XSLT, JSON, REST/SOAP APIs, and a micro‑services architecture. Familiarity with Benefit Connectors, Time‑and‑Payroll integrations and Workday security concepts is essential. Candidates with Workday certification, exposure to Workday Extend, Agile methodology and reporting tools like PRISM will have an edge.
