The Mapping Ops Associate (Tier 1) role sits within the Customer Success, Service & Operations division, specifically in the GIS/Mapping vertical. Reporting to the PD Lead for Mapping Operations, the associate is responsible for creating, curating, and maintaining high‑quality digital maps that support various business and consumer applications. The position is non‑voice and primarily desk‑based, with a walk‑in recruitment drive scheduled from 8th to 12th June at Tech Mahindra’s Bahadurpally campus. Key Responsibilities: 1. Build and update digital maps using GIS tools, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards. 2. Perform quality checks on peer outputs and flag inconsistencies. 3. Process mapping requests within defined SLA windows while maintaining required quality levels. 4. Assist the Pod Lead in daily workflow planning and operational optimization. 5. Participate in regular training sessions and achieve progression milestones. 6. Document mapping processes and contribute to knowledge‑base articles. 7. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as data engineering, product, and QA to resolve mapping issues. 8. Monitor and report key performance metrics related to map quality and turnaround time. 9. Ensure compliance with data security and privacy guidelines while handling geospatial data. 10. Provide feedback for tool enhancements and process improvements. Tech Stack & Tools: ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Maps API, GPS data loggers, Python (for data manipulation), SQL, and basic scripting for automation.
